This building from Amsterdam is the architectural structure I'm look at for my final sculpture. As you can see on the building there is a repeated pattern going all around the outside, this looks like my folded pleats on the paper. I came across this building through look at my friends holiday photos and once I first saw it, it just had to go into my research and the similarities between the building and what my ideas for the final were just all became one.
The curving wall and the shape in general is really interesting and obviously is a modern approach to design.
Here it's clear the repeated pattern on the outer structure of the building. The folding pleats work extremely well to imitate this building outer shell.
