First ideas into the poster development

After doing some research and thinking about the task in hand I started rough designs using the paper techniques used in task 1.

Taking a piece of paper and cutting into a design which I drew on to the page. This gave me two designs, the out lined and the cut out which appears to be the centre piece. I liked how I did this because I kept the paper all connected so I made a stencil like design.
By placing the design on to a wooden oak background, creates an earthy feel and the white paper on the wood has great contrast between the two colours.
Other initial ideas into the poster development, cutting out letter and raising layers makes the design 3d which adds a lot more interest to the design as a 2D flat image can be rather boring which I have explained in task 1 so by lifting and manipulating the paper to become 3D it to life and gives it a personality.
The first stages into designing the ideas I had in my head down on paper and the tools required to do so.
These ideas will be taken into further development, mainly the raised idea of designing so that the poster which will be printed on to a 2D format it will appear 3d by the design I choose and create.
