Sir Norman Foster

Sir Norman Foster probably considered one of the most famous and respected architect there is. All of his design projects turn into master pieces. I decided to take elements of his building designs and fore trait them into my own work. There is a lot of core structure in his work which I have considered and the pleats I've done compromise this lined like structure his has. He bends the rules of traditional architecture and creates new invented shapes which curve, bend, arch etc. I would like to say in my own final design I have captured the elements of building forms which correspond to his work but has essence of my own personality coming through the design giving it added character.

As you can see above the elements I've took interest to and tried to use in my own work. The bending/curving centre bock and the crossed like outer shell.
All these building I chose to research into have the same kind of elements I have for my final design for repeated patterns task. Even in Sir Norman Fosters work he uses a lot of repeated patterns and repetition. A lot of his work is well known to people, for example the 'Gherkin' in London (below).
