Jen stark is an artist I came across when I generally researching. Her work is very experimentally creative. The use of colour has a lot of effect to the designs. She truly has brought paper to life. From a flat form which is 2D she has sculpted extravagant 3D forms.
As you can see above the amount of paper used has an effect on the design.
A lot of the work she produces has directional flow in which the paper is sculpted towards, this make the view automatically look in this way. These two examples are perfect. The one above spirals to the left ad the bottom is very clear in the way in which the paper has been designed.
Yet another design above has interested me into the method of how she has created the design. Cutting into a pillar of paper so that it gives a great perception of depth in a 3D form.
