Final development for final piece

The tools required to start the making into the folded pleats. To work towards the final design I've used A2 paper so that the scale of the model will be bigger therefore better photography shot will seem better and there will be more of the sculpture to capture and depth will be worked better.
Joining two pleated pieces of paper together so that curving of the design will be easier. High angle shot taken, looking down through the centre of the piece.
Colume shaped. I started with one model and i will start adding to it.
Building on the sculpture, rough ideas and plans on the positioning of how I want the sculpture to look.
I then added the big A2 paper design to the other smaller design, this is where I started to get the vision on how it will start to look and through this you can see the similarities between my sculpture and architectural designs shown before this post.
I added all of the individual pieces of paper with the pleated pattern together to make one set composition.  I really like how each piece curves into one another and they compliment each other. The idea of repeated patterns is very clear and there is a lot of repetition within the design.
